Refund policy
Please take the time to read everything diligently, as this policy is automatically applied as you use Hope's Treasures & The Eternal Tao in any single way. ( e.i. Placing an order, browsing the shop, etc...)
* By purchasing any product ( both digital & physical) & services from Hope's Treasures & The Eternal Tao, you agree that you have acknowledged, read and agreed to this policy & all the other policies and take full responsibility. You ( the customer) hereby release/discharge Hope's Treasures & The Eternal Tao (Including owner, suppliers, manufacturers, employees and more; anyone and anything to do with Hope's Treasures & The Eternal Tao) from all liability & losses that you come across with any products, shipping & services.
**This policy is in place to protect the business from illegal/unlawful acts ( e.g. theft, etc...) from customers.
We generally have a 14-30 day return policy and a money-back guarantee depending on the product. This means you have 30 days after receiving your item ( physical product) to request a return as long as the product is not opened & tampered with. (Must be in the original packaging that it arrived in ( the same way it came at your door for delivery, package & label. Therefore, if you open this original packaging to access your product, it's an automatic no return). The customer also pays for the return shipping provided if the return is accepted. - Please see below for more information on exceptions and damaged products.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, not tampered, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at support@eternaltao-hopestreasures.ca with pictures of the unopened package and proof of receipt with the tracking number. If your return is accepted, we'll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. You must request a return and follow the instructions given before returning items to us. Follow this term to ensure your return is accepted. We have the right not to accept your return if you did not follow these steps and for any reason at our discretion.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us at support@eternaltao-hopestreasures.ca immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. The item will be in its separate, unopened package when you open it. Please send pictures and proof of purchase (receipt) to receive a new product. The item must have been a manufacturer defect or damaged inside the package; if you break it, we are not responsible.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item and non-returnable items.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards under any circumstances.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. The package must be in its original form as you received it. ( Not opened and tampered with from its original packaging. See above in the policy regarding strict terms)
European Union 14-day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. (The same rules apply except only within 14 days of receiving your product in the European Union; please read above.)
Refunds
We generally have a strict no-refund policy to protect the business in every way that is out of our control. However, we do have specific exceptions in place to return/refund a customer to protect customers. (e.i. damaged goods)
We will notify you once we've received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved. If approved, you'll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

Disputes
We take the initiative to verify everything (e.g. tracking information) to ensure the business does not suffer any losses from fraud and you as a valuable customer. Therefore, it is crucial to contact us at support@eternaltao-hopestreasures.ca with as much information as possible if you are dealing with fraud to resolve this issue as soon as possible. As mentioned above, we are not responsible for events out of our control, especially if the tracking proves you have received your package.
